Barry Ridge

Barry Ridge is a senior postdoctoral associate at the Humanoid and Cognitive Robotics Lab, Department of Automatics, Biocybernetics and Robotics, Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia. He recently completed a year-long post as a guest researcher at the Department of Brain Robot Interface, ATR Institute International Computational Neuroscience Laboratories, Kyoto, Japan, where he held a Japan Trust International Research Cooperation Program Fellowship provided by the NICT National Institute of Information and Communications Technology and is looking forward to returning there later this year for a shorter stay. His research interests lie mainly in the fields of cognitive and developmental robotics where he has a broad range of experience in computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as in robot control system design and integration.
